Duns Players present their Armistice Production – Not About Heroes – at the Volunteer Hall in Duns between Wednesday 9 November and Saturday 12 November
In the history of English literature, the horrors of war have never been described so eloquently as they were by the participants in the First World War, “The Great War”. This beautiful, moving, powerful and poignant award-winning play by Stephen MacDonald, depicts the relationship of Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen, two of the great war poets, and shows how their friendship and the shared experience of trauma drove each to higher achievements.
Duns Players Armistice Productions have been some of our finest. Not About Heroes will sit proudly amongst them.
