Live Music at Duns Volunteer Hall
From fresh Scottish talent, to international superstars, we’ve got it all right here in Duns!
We kick off spring with a real bounce as we welcome the supremely talented Chameleon Lady to the hallowed stage at the Volunteer Hall in April, swiftly followed by ABBAMANIA in May. Let’s start, however, with our March musical offering from Scottish Opera.
Opera Highlights | Tuesday 19th March
Proving that opera isn’t boring and stuffy, Scottish Opera presents this vibrant show directed by Laura Attridge. Our visiting troupe of four talented singers and pianist are flung into the oh-so-familiar setting of a wedding reception, and go on to explore the highs and lows of love with plenty of wit, charm, and humour. Expect music from the likes of Mozart, Verdi, Donizetti, and Tchaikovsky!

Chameleon Lady & Jordi Fox | Friday 19th April
They’ve been touring the country, and finally they’re heading our way… we’re so excited to host Chameleon Lady with their blend of folk, pop, and rock music for their first gig in Berwickshire.
They’re from just up the road in Edinburgh, and could easily have brought a support act down with them, BUT they’ve chosen local lad Jordi Fox to open for them on the night. Borders-born, and now staying in Duns, Jordi is a creative powerhouse and we can’t wait to spotlight him.
Join us and support our local talent on Friday 19th April 2024. Tickets are just £12 until March 18th, so snap them up quickly before they go up to £15 (which is still great value, tbh!).

ABBAMANIA | Friday 31st May
May is the month of scandi-vibes with a Eurovision Party on 11th May, followed by the sounds of international megastars ABBA at the end of the month! Bringing us their 25th Anniversary Tour, ABBAMANIA have proven to be amongst the best and most enduring ABBA tribute bands. We’re already prepping our outfits for what promises to be a fantastic Friday night out – snap up your tickets now!
